History

Establishment of the Innovation Center of the University of Agriculture in Krakow Ltd. was a response to the need to strengthen existing relationships and establish new relationships between creators of new technologies from the academic community and representatives of the business world.

The concept of establishing the Company was born in 2012 and was possible thanks to the amendment to the Act of 27 July 2005 Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2005 No. 164 item 1365 as amended). This amendment enabled universities in Poland to set up special purpose vehicles as entities enabling access to innovative research for market applications through spin off technology companies.

The Innovation Center of the University of Agriculture in Krakow Ltd. was established by a notarial deed on March 9, 2012, as a special purpose vehicle of the University of Agriculture Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow.

Every year, the Company develops, building new business relationships and helping scientists implement their ideas on the market.
