Hugo Green Solutions Ltd.

Hugo Green Solutions Ltd. is the second spin-off company established by the Special Purpose Vehicle – Innovation Center of the University of Agriculture in Krakow Ltd.

The company was established on July 1, 2020. The shareholder of the company was the Innovation Center of the University of Agriculture in Krakow, as well as Dr. hab. Eng. Agnieszka Klimek-Kopyra, prof. URK and several other individuals willing to develop this venture.

The goal of Hugo Green Solutions is to improve the quality of food and human health, thanks to the use of innovative technology based on plant biostimulation. The technology is based on two solutions “Hugo – Growth Stimulator” and “Hugo – Agricultural robot”, which, when coupled with each other, create a solution for ecological protection of crops, aimed at improving food quality and human health.

Technology developed by Hugo Green Solutions Ltd. helps to solve problems related to the cultivation of plants in unfavorable growing conditions (soil drought, presence of pathogens) by stimulating plants to grow and increasing their resistance to pathogens, using the proprietary biostimulation algorithm for this process.

The company plans to develop its prototype of the device. For this purpose, the Company, while still at the beginning of its activity (startup stage), is looking for additional sources of financing from existing acceleration programs, projects and competitions organized by state and regional institutions and organizations, such as PARP, PFR, NCBR, Ministry of Education and Science, MARR, KPT and others.
