On January 14, 2020, the ceremonial, official opening of the new headquarters of the Technology Transfer Center of the University of Agriculture Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow took place. The event could have taken place thanks to the decision of the University Authorities, which decided to adapt the closed building to the new offices of the university-wide unit. Thank you!

The event was graced by representatives of the University authorities: Rector of UAK, Prof. dr hab. eng. Włodzimierz Sady, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Prof. dr hab. eng. Florian Gambuś, Chancellor Tomasz Szanser, Chairman of the Technology Transfer Center of UAK, Supervisory Board, Prof. dr hab. eng. Marcin Rapacz. The meeting was also attended by directors of Technology Transfer Centers, presidents of special purpose companies of Kraków’s Universities, and a representative of the RSI Monitoring and Management Office from the Economic Development Department of the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Voivodship, Agnieszka Bachórz.

During the opening, Director of the Technology Transfer Center of UAK, Tomasz Czech PhD, discussed the main achievements and planned activities that are and will be carried out at the Technology Transfer Center of UAK, and showed visitors around the unit itself. The meeting took place in a pleasant atmosphere filled with questions and ideas regarding the possibility of mutual cooperation in the academic environment. The new offices will serve as many as three entities that operate at our University, i.e.:

1) The Technology Transfer Center of the University of Agriculture Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow

2) The Innovation Center of the University of Agriculture in Krakow Ltd.

3) Academic Business Incubator of the University of Agriculture Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow
