On September 8-10, 2020, Lublin hosted the inauguration of the 3rd edition of the “Idealist” startup program run by the Energy Science and Technology Park Ltd. Vestigia Plasm Ltd. – a company founded by Maciej Gliniak, PhD, Tomasz Dróżdż, prof. UR and Piotr Sadza – was among the teams qualified for the incubation process. During the competition process for 70 submitted projects, the idea of scientists from the University of Agriculture in Krakow took 3rd place! Congratulations!

Scientists, encouraged by running their own ventures as part of the “Incubator of Innovation 2.0”, decided to develop their own business idea that is in phase 1 of the TRL level. During the incubation process, Vestigia Plasm Ltd. will develop issues related to running a professional business. The funding obtained by the company is aimed at creating a MVP of a cold plasma burner, which will be used to optimize the process of process water preparation in power plants. This solution is an example of the possibility of cost optimization and reduction of pollutant emissions to the environment, which will ultimately fit into the mechanisms of the Circular Economy and Green Order.
