The “Incubator of Innovation 2.0” project contributed to the financing of 9 selected R&D works. Today we present the pre-implementation work entitled “Development of a prototype of the” GrowthStimulator “device for post-emergence plant biostimulation”, headed by Dr. Eng. Agnieszka Klimek-Kopyra, prof. UR.
“GrowthStimulator” is an innovative technology of post-emergence plant irradiation, using the combined method (algorithm of plant irradiation with adjustable light beams). It is dedicated to agricultural producers looking for agro-technology dedicated to plants in the juvenile phase, sensitive to potential abiotic and biotic stress factors, e.g. pathogens, water deficit.
“GrowthStimulator” is dedicated to agricultural producers with small and large areas, cultivating arable crops, including vegetables and herbal plants. An element that is difficult to follow is the proposed algorithm that can effectively stimulate plants to grow in an environmentally safe manner. The technology solves the problem of the length of the vegetation period of plants, e.g. soybean, which in the case of high-yielding varieties with extended vegetation period is problematic due to the late harvest date, which causes problems with drying the seeds. The aim of the project “Incubator of Innovation 2.0” is to support the process of managing the results of scientific research and development works, in particular with regard to their commercialization. The implementation of the program should contribute to the promotion of scientific achievements, increasing their impact on the development of innovation and strengthening cooperation between the scientific community and the economic environment.
The project called “Incubator of Innovation 2.0” is carried out as part of an out-of-competition project “Support for the management of scientific research and commercialization of R&D results in research units and enterprises” under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020 (Measure 4.4). The total value of the Project is PLN 1,210,000.
